Procedure: Capsulectomy and Breast Implant Exchange
This is a 51 yo female with a history of breast augmentation followed by a breast augmentation revision by 2 previous plastic surgeons. She comes in with significant capsular contracture as well as a tuberous breast deformity. I performed a bilateral implant removal and capsulectomy from a subglandular pocket, and dissected a new dual plane pocket for replacement of the implants as well as radial scoring of the right and left breast to correct the tuberous deformity of the nipple areolar complex. I replaced her 300cc saline implants with 350 cc saline implants overfilled to 400cc.
